Homeward

Privacy

I’m asking for your email and first name so that I can write to you about Homeward—when it launches, when there is an early version to try, and occasionally along the way. I won’t use it for anything else.

Specifically, here’s what that means:

If you sign up, I’ll send you an email right away to confirm your signup. After that, until launch you’re only going to hear from me when I have a real update to share: the launch date, an early beta, maybe a note or two about what I’m working on. Probably no more than one email a month. You can unsubscribe at any time, and I’ll remove your email address.

Your email address will be stored in Loops, the email service I use to send these updates. I will not share it with anyone else or use it to advertise to you anywhere else. I don’t run ads for Homeward.

The site collects basic analytics—which pages people visit, how they got to my site, and whether they signed up. This helps me understand if my message is reaching foster parents. The analytics are anonymous and not tied to your email.

When I launch Homeward later this year I’m going to publish a longer privacy policy that covers you and your family’s data and how I handle it. That will be a more detailed document. I’ll send it to you when I launch Homeward and you’ll have a chance to read it before you officially sign up (if you want to).

Until then, if you have any questions, you can email me directly: michael@usehomeward.com.
